JUFA Hotel Schladming

During my stay an old male hotel employee entered my room without knocking or announcing himself while I was naked, catching me off guard and leaving me feeling violated and uncomfortable. I had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. To make matters worse, he stared at me before finally telling me why he was there or who he was, further exacerbating the distressing situation. He was not wearing any hotel attire, just a polo shirt and shorts. He did not apologize or seem embarrassed. He mumbled something about closing the windows, and when he saw they were already closed, finally left the room. The incident lacked professionalism and basic respect for privacy. While I understand there are cultural differences with nudity, I would expect a hotel that takes in international guests to respect Do Not Disturb signs or at the very least knock and announce themselves before barging into rooms. This would have given me time to get dressed and avoided this entire situation. There were multiple incidents with Housekeeping as well where they would knock and immediately open the door without waiting for a response. Thankfully each time I was near the door so I was able to hold it and tell them I did not need their service. This is clearly a training issue with the staff and I hope they improve their service so that this does not happen to anyone else.

Very good central location. Top kitchen for this price ratio. Very well trained and helpful stuff in the bar and in the restaurant. Not clear parking policy. Even if you book and pay (10€/day) mit doesn’t mean you will keep it... parking spot,numbers are marked at the floor, which doesn’t help you if there is snow outside... the CCTV in Ski Storage area doesn’t work (information from front desk), pizza in the daily bar run out after 2days... money/value 87%....
